With 70's boho-chic vibes, plush foliage and copper metallics this styled shoot, the idea of photographer Madga K had my creative mind working in overdrive! Beginning with a sumptuous colour palette and a loose brief, this dream team of local wedding suppliers worked on our own interpretations of the theme in our specialist areas and came together at the gorgeous Kedleston Country House Boutique Hotel to be beautifully photographed by Magda. The end result is #weddinggoals!

The overall look brings together so much texture and exudes boho-chic luxe. Some of my favourite bits are the cotton macrame backdrop, table runner and chair backs by Clove & Hitch, stunning creative floral and foliage design by Mrs Umbels - I mean, who would have thought to have used fern, huge succulents and poppyseed heads as table decorations? The wedding menu - the food at The Kedleston was divine and The Rustic Wedding Company bought everything together so seamlessly; we couldn't have done it without Lesley and her amazing style plan.

I created a dessert table complete with copper details on the cupcakes and macarons, a 2 tier, 8-layer semi-naked cake finished with fresh flowers, macaron favours tied with metallic copper ribbon and a showstopping 2 tier suspended centrepiece cake created in collaboration with Amy Bailey Design and Mrs Umbels using the wedding stationery design and tonnes of hanging foliage. The cake hanger was custom made by my aunt who is a crochet genius who skills lend to macrame and YouTube videos really well! (Thanks aunty Jen!). It was a real labour of love to create a cake that was so original and does boho so well.
