Relaxed Southwell Minster Wedding

It's always so difficult choosing a small selection of images to share on a blog post and Charlotte Jopling's images of Joe and Ally's wedding was no exception. Charlotte's photography is crisp, really picks up the details as well as making colours pop but it's also really natural and just beautiful too.

Joe and Ally chose a style that suited them just right - not overdone, not too much, not over thought and it came together beautifully. They let their venues be the stars of the day, the historic cathedral Southwell Minster is where Ally and her family have always gone to church so this was a natural choice for their ceremony and Norwood Park is a beautiful venue close by with beautiful grounds. Their motif was their fingerprint heart which carried from their save-the-dates to their on-the-day paper goods. Mrs Umbels created such beautiful bouquets and floral arrangements with many of the flowers coming from her own cutting patch at her flower shed just north of Newark.

For their cake, they chose a semi-naked 3 tier in crowd-pleasing Victoria sponge, this won for them even after choosing several different cake flavours. A touch of glamour was included with a smattering of luxurious 23ct gold leaf over the three tiers. Joe and Ally are literally the cutest couple I have met so far - so in love, giggly, young and about to make their way in the world together as Mr and Mrs Levell! Congratulations to them both!
