South East Asia mini tour pt.3
Singapore did not disappoint despite this destination not being on our itinerary originally. Our first stop on arrival, after checking into our air bnb, was Orchard Road and ION Orchard; an amazing shopping destination and a fantastic food court in the basement called Food Opera. We spent part of the following day on Pulau Ubin - an island nature reserve where we hired bikes and got up close to wildlife. We had to take in the views from the ION Sky, go to the historic Raffles Hotel, take in the night sky from Marina Bay and check out Chinatown and more amazing temples before we checked out of Singapore and headed home! There is so much to see and do in Singapore that I really want to go back some day soon to finish what we started!
Over the last year or so becoming a sustainable, environmentally-friendly business has been at the front of my mind. During the process of creating a show-stopping wedding cake there is so much packaging and consumables involved and I’ve tried to reduce this although it has been very difficult.
